GRESB ESG – Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark

Consulting services in the GRESB assessment process of ESG rating gap analysis of corporate profiles and score maximization.

GRESB (Green Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) is the global standard that provides financial markets with usable and transparent ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) data.

Listed real estate companies, private property funds, developers and real estate investors use GRESB to assess their ESG performance and benchmarking.

Assessment participants receive comparative business intelligence on where they stand compared to their peers: a roadmap with actions they can take to improve their ESG performance and a communication platform to interact with investors.

In 2020, the GRESB announced to align its reporting standard with the World Green Building Council’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment, and to increase the value of real estate portfolios that sign the commitment to operate 100 net zero carbon buildings by 2030.

Greenwich offers consultancy services in the GRESB rating process in the following phases:

  • Identification and analysis of the ESG rating gap of company profiles in response to GRSB requirements and application of strategies to reduce it.
  • Gathering of documentation to respond to the GRSB questionnaire and underwriting.
  • Implementation of a roadmap of activities to maximise the GRSB score during the coming years.
