Who are WELL Performance Testing Agents?
Greenwich’s WELL Performance Testing Agents are Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI)-trained and accredited professionals who, in addition to their WELL AP experience and expertise, are skilled with the detailed knowledge to perform all testing procedures necessary to assess the indoor environmental quality of buildings related to occupant health and well-being. WELL Performance Testing Agents are key figures who provide independent, third-party verification of performance in projects registered to WELL v2 standards. They conduct the crucial phase of data collection and analysis and follow the preparation of the final documentation for submission to the WELL Review on the way to certification.
Greenwich is powered by 3 WELL Performance Testing Agents who perform tests in the areas of:
- Air quality: all required parameters
- Water quality: turbidity and 40 other chemical and biological parameters.
- Lighting: visual, circadian lighting, etc.
- Thermal comfort: thermo hygrometric comfort for people.
- Acoustics: background noise, reverberation time, etc.
The Role of the WELL Performance Testing Organization
The Performance Verification service executed by Greenwich’s Performance Testing Agents is carried out under the authority of Greenwich: one of the first sustainability consulting company in Italy to be qualified as a WELL Performance Testing Organization. This title recognizes Greenwich’s crucial role throughout the entire WELL building certification process: from consulting during the design and construction phase to being a third-party independent performance tester on-site for buildings that are pursuing or renewing WELL v2 certification.
Awarded after submitting and evaluating the necessary requirements, and approving the WELL Quality Management Plan. That document outlines Greenwich’s processes, procedures and protocols in performing WELL testing in full compliance with the parameters and requirements established by the guidelines of Green Business Certification Inc. and IWBI – International WELL Building Institute.
