Green & Healty building business unit, regarding:

  • Major building certifications such as: LEED, BREEAM, WELL
  • Other services such as: ESG/GRESB, EU Taxonomy, CRREM, Carbon, Biodiversity.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Manage firsthand the design development phase according to the requirements of Green and Healthy Building rating Systems
  • Manage firsthand the construction phase according to the requirements of Green and Healthy Building rating Systems
  • Perform specialized activities pertaining to the job order
  • Produce reports, deliverables and graphic information models functional to the requirements of certification protocols
  • Integrate multidisciplinary technical papers
  • Perform site inspections at buildings and construction sites
  • Supervise construction activities
  • Assist with final testing and delivery.

To be successful in the role you will need to possess:

  • Knowledge of the relevant industry with a consultative approach
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex projects, in international contexts, with Client and Supplier interface
  • Propensity for teamwork and spirit of initiative
  • Willingness to travel briefly mainly within the national territory
  • Fluent English
  • Driver’s license cat. B

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture
– Skills in Sustainability and Circular Economy and their application
– Knowledge of one or more of the following standards preferred:

  • Energy: energy performance of buildings;
  • Green Building certification protocols: LEED, BREEAM, WELL, FitWell – AP or Assessor qualification is preferred;
  • Building service systems: HVAC, Electrical systems, elevators;
  • Excellent knowledge of Autocad software. Knowledge of IES Virtual Environment is an asset.

The proposal includes an in-house position with a permanent contract and salary commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

• Participate and learn the design development phase according to the requirements of Green & Healthy Building rating Systems
• Participate in and learn the management of the construction phase according to the requirements of Green & Healthy Building rating Systems
• Learn the execution of specialized activities pertaining to the job order
•  Produce reports, drawings and graphic information models functional to the requirements of the certification protocols;• Integrate multidisciplinary technical papers;

GREENWICH S.R.L. is looking for a Graduate or Engineer in the Environmental field to join its staff, aimed at technical support for LCA and Carbon Footprint studies.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in construction, environmental, energy engineering, or Master’s/Master’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, or equivalent degrees;
– good knowledge of the English language;
– knowledge of Windows environments and Office package;
– previous experience in LCA and/or Carbon Footprint studies;
– self-driving.

Good communication and teamwork skills, proactivity, independence and a scientific approach to data with a good critical sense complete the profile.

The Candidate will work alongside a Senior Technical Figure on the development of LCA and Carbon Footprint studies. In the future, he/she may also be included in other studies related to other Product and/or Organization Certifications.

A fixed-term employment contract is offered with the possibility of conversion to permanent status.

Consultant in Naturalistic and Ecological Topics Applied to the Design of New Habitats in Built Environments

Work location: Milan

What you will do

  • Collect, research, and analyse data related to naturalistic and ecological topics, with particular focus on botanical and agronomic components in the design and management of green spaces for new logistics and residential developments;
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations;
  • Participate in consultancy projects, providing meaningful contributions and collaborating in field surveys;
  • Work with the team to develop innovative solutions;
  • Research & Development activities: validation and development of the new SBV Index – Site Biodivercity Index in collaboration with the University of Milano-Bicocca.

Note: although operating in the field of applied ecology, the work is mainly office-based, computer-based, and carried out in urban, peri-urban, or agricultural environments. Therefore, patience, strong report-writing skills, organized document management, and the ability to interact with clients and technical stakeholders in both formal and informal contexts are required.

Requirements

    • Degree or enrolment in degree programs in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, landscape architecture, forestry, natural or agricultural sciences, biology, or architecture, preferably with a focus on plant-related applications to projects (botany, ecology, agricultural/forestry management, ecological gardening);
    • Passion for environment and ecology;
    • Willingness to learn;
    • Analytical and research skills;
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
    • Ability to use graphic software for project drafting, drawings, green design layouts, and presentations;
    • At least basic knowledge of IT tools and data analysis software (e.g. ArcView, QGIS) and design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Landscape);
    • Knowledge of ecological and naturalistic survey practices;
    • Vegetation and botanical surveys applied to green design in botanical and agronomic contexts;
    • Basic knowledge of statistics applied to ecology.
