PLANS FOR THE ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION

When designing the ecological transition of a site or settlement, the efforts to preserve, enhance and increase biodiversity and ecological functionality become key issues on which specific action plans must be based.

The professional figure of the naturalist is central, as it helps to define the scenarios, goals, activities, and priorities of the ecological transition project for the site to be developed. In addition, it is able to manage a wide range of professionals—such as engineers, technologists, administrators, urban planners, and others—that are characteristic of large projects using a common “ecological” language.

At the client’s request, Greenwich’s team of natural scientists develops ecological transition plans and plans to improve the ecological resilience of a site and/or settlement and provides support during the implementation phases (with regards to environmental aspects).
